Recognition of Veterans
As Freemasons, we understand the value of service and camaraderie, and given the proximity to Veteran’s Day, there is no better way to pay tribute to our veterans than by recognizing their contributions in front of our fellow brethren. From those who have fought in past wars to those currently serving, each veteran deserves our utmost respect and gratitude.
We expressed our heartfelt thanks to all the veterans who have selflessly dedicated themselves to defending our nation. We featured a presentation where we read a history of Veterans Day, poems and written works, and asked Veteran Brothers who were present to give their background and a brief history of their service.
Visitation from Prince Hall - Philadelphia Lodge No. 74
With our stated meeting being the same night of the month as that of Philadelphia Lodge, it's been difficult for our lodge's to attend each other's stated meetings. Moving our stated meeting to the first week of this month changed that. It was wonderful to share dinner, conversation and brotherhood with these fine gentlemen. We look forward to the next opportunity!
